WBL Basketball League
Next league starts in August
The Richard E. Workman Sports and Wellness complex offers a competitive developmental league for grades Kindergarten to Eighth grade. WSC encourages all levels of talent and skill, as development of fundamentals is never ending. The youth develop skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, and rebounding. The WBL combines team play and individual skills in a fun and supportive environment. Players are assessed at the beginning to ensure equal talent is placed on all teams. Volunteer coaches will cover the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, defense and shooting, as well as the rules and strategies of the game.
Starts in June
WSC offers Fishing 101 for youth who want to learn education on water safety, introduction to casting and casting accuracy. The program is instructed by Ed Donovan. Ed spent many years on the professional fishing circuit and has a vast skill set. He has taught many people how to fish throughout the years and has helped guide people in catching their first fish! He takes pride in what he does and is very passionate about teaching the youth how to fish safely and efficiently.
